Yusuf Altohami

Yusuf Altohamy memorized the Qur’an by the age of thirteen and pursued his Islamic studies through the traditional Alimiyyah curriculum. He completed the first three years of his studies at Darul Uloom New York and the final three years at Darul Uloom Azaadville in South Africa.

During his time in Azaadville, he studied the Seven Qira’at under the guidance of Qari Abdullah Motara, benefiting from the rich tradition of Qur’anic recitation and scholarship.

Alongside his Qur’anic studies, Yusuf completed the study of the six major books of Hadith, receiving ijazah and sanad from qualified scholars.

Yusuf currently serves his community through teaching, mentoring students, and sharing Islamic knowledge. He remains committed to continued learning and strives to benefit others through the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
